In the “macOS Catalina Virtual Image” section is the VMware Player Patch Tool. Before commencing any further, download the patch tool. Then, browse to the location you downloaded the patch tool to. Extract the contents of the archive. I've been trying all kinds of solution online and cannot find any that can make the mac-OS smoother. I have assigned 8 GB of RAM and 4 cores processor. I have installed Darwin vmware tools. Tried reinstalling the vmware tools like 100 times but no luck. Is there any other way or something that I might be missing. I'm a noob have mercy.

VMware are no longer including the ISO images as separate 'packages' in the CDS respository as of Fusion 11.5.0, instead the ISO images are included as part of the 'core' download which is 522 MB.

It is not possible to download the com.vmware.fusion.zip.tar due to upload limits.

However, I have extracted the darwin.iso and darwinPre15.iso from the 'core' and uploaded to this thread.

The VMware Tools installer is embedded in the VMware Fusion application itself. Power on the virtual machine and log in. From the Apple menu, go to Virtual Machine Install VMware Tools. Click Install when prompted. The VMX file is a VMware virtual machine configuration. Open the “macOS High Sierra” folder on the desktop or “ Documents Virtual Machines ”. Please note: In the latest VMwareGfx.kext from Fusion 8.5.5 onwards VMware have discontinued the 2D-Acceleration code, and graphics performance is better now, thanks to Zenith432 for the update.
