Just like the classic analog hardware de-essers, the Spitfish de-esser dynamically filters out harsh, annoying s-like sounds that would otherwise 'spit' in your face. I have used tons of de-essers and the only one that i found that cuts the esses out accurate for pc is the nomad blue tubes bundle. The de esser is so accurate you can crank it up removing every ess in the track then slowly reduce it till you have the sound you want. And it cuts the ess-es out with out effecting the rest of the track.this is what works for me hope this helped. Size 1.26 MB Modern De-Esser is a classic de-esser. Power On/Off button Gain Reduction meter include. Open the Audacity file you want to de-ess. Select the entire track (or just a portion, if you want to de-ess only a portion of the file).
